HORSEMANSHIP 101

Do you fall asleep at night dreaming about horses?  It's time to make your dreams come true!  We have quiet, patient horses who will help you learn to relax and have confidence while working with them.  We also have enthusiastic coaches who want to teach you to ride safely and with proper horsemanship!

Horsemanship 101 sessions

Ages5- 7

HORSEMANSHIP 101 PLUS

This class is for our cowpokes who have done a 101 class or joined us for a Ranch Camp.  During the 4 weeks we will continue to grow in our horsemanship as we work on balanced riding, our sitting and posting trot and of course, having LOTS of fun!

Ages 6-9

FEEL THE FREEDOM!

Life should be about horses, nature, open prairie and freedom.  This class will tie them all together!  Get ready to enjoy riding without boundaries and learning more about horses in the beautiful outdoors.  You have some great rides ahead of you!

Level I:

Cowpokes must have taken a minimum of 4 weeks of continuous lessons and feel comfortable at a sitting trot.

Level II:

Cowpokes must feel comfortable at a posting trot and ride with balance (no hands on the horn).

Cowpokes must have done some loping in previous lessons and want to continue working on loping skills.

TEEN & ADULT OUTDOOR EDUCATION

Getting out of the arena - what a relief!  Or is it?  This class will educate riders and horses on dealing with no boundaries, barn sourness, herdiness, trail etiquette and conditioning.  It's about using the beautiful outdoors to help keep ourselves and our horses mentally and physically fit!

**1.5 hours in the saddle**

TURN & BURN

Are you one of those people who can't wait for the barrel racing at a rodeo to begin?  Or maybe you've done it for fun in the past, and now you want to brush up some of your skills.  Or maybe you just want to see what the fuss is all about!  If so, this class is designed for you!  It's nothin' but barrels, poles and speed events!

Ages 8-12

Thursday, 6:00-7:30pm

**Must have taken at least 2 years of lessons and be comfortable at a lope.

Teens Only

Tuesday, 5:45-7:45pm

**Must have taken at least 2 years of lessons and be very comfortable at a lope/gallop & with 2 hands

Adults Only:
