Ranch Camp  2009

This summer our camps offer double the

 hands on time spent with 'your' horse!

Camp hours: 8:30am-3:00pm

Evening Show on Final day of Camp - 6:00pm

1)Call Sandhills to reserve a spot for your cowpokes. (477-3508)

2)Fill in and mail the Registration Form in the brochure, along with 2 cheques.

Cheque # 1- $25.00 deposit (non refundable)

Cheque # 2- $300.00 post dated for the 1st of the month that your cowpoke is attending (July 1st or Aug 1st)

3) When we receive your Registration and both cheques we will send you out a list for what to bring, an a waiver and registration form for you to bring back on the 1st day of camp.

 

Camp Highlights

HORSEBACK RIDING- lots of wide, open places to ride and enjoy the outdoors on the back of a horse.

HORSEMANSHIP & ARENA WORK- Not only do we want you to have fun on "your" horse , but we also want you to learn the proper techniques, riding posture and balance- all that goes into becoming a real rider

CARING FOR 'YOUR' HORSE- Riding is great but with it comes the responsibility of cleaning up after your horse, bathing hi after a hard day's work and looking after your saddle and bridle.

COUNTRY CRAFTS- we're gonna work on small projects that will help you remember the great times you spent here at Sandhills.

 

Cost: $325.00 + GST

If there are two or more cowpokes from the same immediate family 10% is taken off the second cowpokes Ranch Camp fee!

* To attend camp, 5 year olds must have taken part in a minimum 3 week program at Sandhills, or pay an additional $40.00 to have a helper with them during their horsemanship.
