Horsemanship: For horsemanship, the teens will be split into groups based on their horsemanship level. We will be spending an hour each day either working in the indoor or outdoor arena on our technical riding skills. During this time we will get to work on our favourite events like barrel racing, pole bending and jumping! Horse Education: Our afternoons will be spend learning about different areas of horse care and riding. These are the topics we will be taking a closer look at: *Equine Dentistry * Saddle & Equipment Fitting *Conformation *Alternative Healing Therapies for Horses *Horse Health *Purchasing a Horse *Language of the Horse *World of Barrel Racing Yee Haw Rides After our hard work in the morning, we will take some time to relax and enjoy riding outside and giving our horses, and our selves the chance to get out of the arena. Most of the time we will be doing a relaxing ride, but on those cooler days we will take the opportunity to lope over the hills and really enjoy some freedom!
Camp will run from 8:30am-3pm with the exception of Thursday. On Thursday everyone will stay for a good 'ol fashioned weinie roast and then prepare for our evening show at 6pm Parents, friends and family are all invited to come watch!
